I was asked to write a little intro of what "this is all about" and I have no idea where to start......soooooo......we start at the beginning. :D:D
Hi! My name is Sonnie and I'm a GRAPH-A-HOLIC!! I've been addicted for only six months now, but it feels like a lifetime. I love tubes, clowns, bears, lotsa color and all sorts of goodies.
I've been known to be online for hours upon hours and my computer site looks it. Everything is at my beckoning reach except for the potty, but I'm working on that too! :D
I've had a dream for the longest time now. It may sound simple to most, but I wanted to show off literally what I've learned so far and, at the same time, share my goodies with as many of you as I can. I enjoy doing for people so much, that I finally found, what I call, "my calling, my nitch and my raisin in the sun" all rolled into one. I can finally learn to express how I feel by way of my graphics and, in doing so, this is my gift from me to you.
Sounds dumb? Maybe so, but I never had any talent that I knew of in this area before. The closest I got were "stick figures" literally. I always wanted to contribute something of myself that I could be proud of and I finally found it staring me right in the face. My grown sons, Brian and Brett, are so gifted, in so many ways, that I now feel like I really am a part of them through this wondrous world called Cyberspace Graphics! The feeling of pride and accomplishment I cannot even begin to describe. My talents may not be much to some, but if they make me feel as good as they do, then that's all that counts.....for I finally found my "raisin in the sun" and I feel damn good about it!
So, my friends, enjoy what has been created, molded, given birth to, any way you want to look at it, but before I forget, I would like to take this moment, if I may, to dedicate all this labor of love to someone very special that I just recently met online. Out of the goodness of her heart and knowing my desperation, she took out valuable time from her life and added it onto mine. We drove each other crazy at times, probably wanted to pull each other's hair out, but she taught me well. Her discipline, tolerance, patience and being the expert that she is in her field of computer science has made me a more knowledgeable and experienced person in the field of web pages.
I know I have a long way to go, but when you think that we only met less than a week ago and I knew almost next to nothing, well........................come see what she taught me and walk the walk with me. The ideas mostly were my own and my thoughts are still my own. She just took me by the hand and pointed me in the right direction.
